Esther: A friend referred me when I had my first child 7 years ago. Loved it and second child is attending now. Very focused on loving the kids. Day care is primarily for infants through 3 years old. Currently working on developing a formal program for the older kids.

Child Care Review Pros and Cons

Pros: Very focused on the infants. Very loving with them - lots of holding and playing with them. Work well with the 1-2 year olds, establishing routines and and doing activities. Nice, good quality educational toys. Great staff. Loved the size of the rooms - it's hard to find a place with space (trust me, I looked at over 10 other day cares!)

Cons: Nothing I can really think about. Maybe that they don't currently offer food service like they used to at the former location, which got floooded.

Features and Comments

Features: Call daycare to check prices.

Comments: Great program. Director has been doing this for at least 8 years. I loved her when she had my now-7 year old girl and still loves what she does now, thus why my 7-month old baby is there now. The location is not convenient to me (I live by Causeway and work in Elmwood and the daycare is in Mid City), but my peace of mind with the baby is worth the drive to me. Would recommend the daycare to anybody.

Dates attended: Currently attend (as of spring '08) with second child. First child attended when a baby.
