Is Your Child Eligible for Head Start?

Monday August 4, 2008
The federal child care program Head Start is primarily for preschool children from low-income families. Foster children and children with special needs may also qualify. The program is operated by local non-profit organizations across the U.S. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. They also receive free medical and dental care, and receive healthy meals and snacks. Most children in Head Start are between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. Services are also available to infants and toddlers in selected sites. The Head Start locator provides a searchable database of programs.

Hello my name is Lisa Gordon. I am an Area Director for AupairCare in the Twin Cities.
Hosting an Aupair is a wonderful way to introduce you and your children to a different culture. If you have 2 or more children in Daycare it usually is less expensive. It is definately stepping out of the traditional DayCare Box. I’d love to tell you more about our program and answer any questions if anyone is interested.
