Heat and Leaving Kids in Cars Can Have Tragic Results

Tuesday June 10, 2008
A new father emailed me this week asking about how he can avoid any possibility of accidentally leaving his young daughter in a hot car. It seems a heat-related death of a child has already been reported in the news this year, and the devastating outcome will most likely not be the last to occur this year. Reasons vary, but usually kids fall asleep in their car seat and distracted or harried parents somehow unintentially leave them in the car. There are products to buy or things you can do as a simple reminder to make sure your children don't suffer a tragic fate of being left in a hot car.
