Dress Kids for Play, Comfort...Not for Fashion Sense at Daycare

This is sure to strike a nerve with child care providers and teachers everywhere! A top grumblewith caregivers is inappropriately-dressed tots who arrive for a day at the park or painting dressed in ruffles and satin shoes, or in shorts and flip-flops when the weather is unseasonably cool. Parents should keep in mind comfort and practicality when dressing kids for daycare or school. Here are top tips from caregivers on dressing kids for fun and comfort! (And, yes, they'll still look adorable!)

I work in a child care center and these rules are incredibly correct. I wish parents everywhere could see this. School is not a place for a beauty pageant.

I for one teach in a developmentally approprogram. If a child, or myself, for that matter, leaves spotless at the end of the day, I have not done my job. Kids love to get messy!!!
