Grandparents Touch My Kids' Lives In Countless Ways
Wednesday September 8, 2004
What what I do without my children's grandparents? I can only wish that my three offspring could spend more quality time with their grandparents, without feeling the rush and schedule that dictates our lives right now. Grandparents love their grandkids for who they are and seem to see their potential for what they will become, while overlooking minor flaws of unbrushed teeth, messy rooms, undone homework, and dirty socks strewn across the living room. Grandparents love my kids and bestow attention, special treats, surprises, and wisdom. Grandparents Day may have come and gone, but the intent is to raise the awareness and emphasis on the impact grandparents have on our lives. Here are some ideas for helping to keep grandparents' legacy and wisdom a special part of your family.
