Sidda: I found the center from the internet and through word of mouth. It is a Montessori-style preschool.

Child Care Review Pros and Cons

Pros: There is a good teacher-child ratio and small classrooms.

Cons: The teachers were unqualified, the nutrition programs were iffy, and the kitchen was unsanitary.

Features and Comments

Features: Cost is $600-$800 a month.

Comments: My daughter went there when she was 18 months all the way up to kindergarten and when I had my son, I started taking him there. The "education" and "curriculum" is not all that it is cracked up to be and it is nowhere close to the equivalent of the Montessori school I was used to when growing up. This school has had a turnover of teachers as well. When I have visited the school on random occasions, I have noticed the teachers napping while the kids are playing during the afternoon recess. The quality has gone down from a 5-star school to a 1-star school rapidly. We have since switched Montessori schools.

Dates attended: Attended for several years; submitted 12/08.
