Adam: I searched the SW Region of Portland and surrounding neighborhoods of Sellwood, Terwilliger, South Waterfront, and Downtown to find a convenient and Licensed Daycare or Childcare facility that could watch our son for 5 days a week, fulltime. We chose Next Generation Childcare on Corbett Ave (Johns Landing) because we immediately felt how special a facility it was. We were impressed by the security, the friendly staff, the happy, joyful kids and we were invited to a few trial runs where our son came in, played, ate a wonderful breakfast, and interacted with the other toddlers while I met with the director.
Child Care Review Pros and Cons
Pros: Convenient to our SW Portland Location -LIcensed, Friendly, Engaging Teachers and Staff -wonderful kitchen and amazing food for our son -artistic decoration with murals, artwork, and the classroom's toys and layout changes every couple weeks to keep the space fresh. -they are always talking to us about our son and his day.Cons: None to report.
Features and Comments
Features: Right now we pay 200/week which is cheaper than we were paying downtown.
