Mom: After visiting Kids R Kids in Kennesaw twice to tour their facility, meet caregivers, and obtain information about their infant program we decided enroll our 2 month old daughter. We of course, like all parents, expected her to receive the best care possible. Her first day at this location was her last day. I am extremely disappointed and outraged in the care she received.

Child Care Review Pros and Cons
Pros: None listed.Cons: I am extremely disappointed and outraged in the care she received. My husband and I were looking forward to visiting our little girl at lunch time on her first day to see how things were going. We stayed in the infant room for about 30 minutes loving on her. We observed many things we were not satisfied with. The infant room was chaotic. There were 11 babies and only 2 teachers, which is not the 4-1 ratio we were told the center offered. There were a few infants that were already crawling and pulling up mixed in with the little infants. While there we saw the older infants pulling on the younger infants asleep in the swings and almost getting hit by the moving swing. We noticed our daughters face had dried up formula all around her mouth where they must not had time to properly wipe her mouth after her feeding. We knew then we would be looking for another childcare center and planned to visit one that afternoon. I rushed out of the office that afternoon ready to pick up my little girl. What I saw when I walked in shocked and scared me. I walked into the infant room and my daughter was in one of the swings that they lay back in with a bottle propped up in her mouth by a blanket. I was outraged and knew right then and there she would not be coming back there tomorrow. After getting home I noticed other concerns. While changing her diaper around 7 pm I noticed she was not cleaned properly from her dirty diaper she had around 11-12 that day as there were still remnants left behind. I then noticed a 2 inch mark on her neck.
Features and Comments
Features: The Kids R Kids philosophy, caregivers personalities, teacher to child ratios, environment, the upcoming implementation of the webcam, and location very close to my office helped make our decision to choose this childcare facility to care for our precious baby girl.Comments: I told the owner/director (after multiple attempts in trying to reach her) I wanted to tell her everything we had experienced so that she was aware and could correct the issues for other children in their care. She said she had already been made aware and was sorry that the center was not a fit for us. While talking to her I could not believe what I was hearing. She did not once apologize for the things that happened and really seemed to not care. She was very rude and uncompassionate. I am writing this review to share my recent experience so that parents searching for the best childcare for their children will have information to help them make their important decision.
