Families Encouraged To Bring Kids To Polls On Election Day
Friday March 7, 2008
My state of Texas just held its primaries this week, and I was delighted about how many questions my 9-year-old had of the election process. In the months ahead, there are many political decisions to be made and I plan to show my kids the voting process first hand. The White House Project is also encouraging voters to bring someone special when votes are cast. The campaign, "Go Vote. Go Run. Go Lead. Go Girl!" is especially aimed at women to vote and to become involved.
