Stir Up Fun and Memories This Holiday Season
Wednesday November 10, 2004
I'm proud to say that I have created cooks in my home. My oldest son, now 13, developed a love of cooking at an early age that continues today. He's always happy to whip himself up a meal, and even takes over the kitchen when friends are over. Some of his specialties include quesadillas, omelettes and waffles, and what's to complain about that? Now, my six-year-old and four-year-old have joined in. My daughter can cook scrambled eggs and bacon for the family, and my youngest delights in preparing cinnamon rolls from a can and then icing them (and himself in the process). The holidays are a great time to create some lasting family memories through cookie decorating, bread baking, and more. Here are ideas for stirring up fun in the kitchen this holiday season.
