Keep Kids Safe During 'Breaks' From School or Daycare Routine

Monday December 22, 2008
We've got our beloved, precious children at home with us for two weeks. Two precious weeks. And, for some of us, two very long, frenzied and exhausting two weeks before they are bundled back up and dropped off at their school or daycare. The breaks give us all much-needed refueling time with relaxed schedules and ample opportunity to play. But since kids may get the false impression that rules have also been relaxed, it should come as no surprise that holidays can lead to dangerous situations or even accidents involving our young if we let down our parenting guards.
