Nearly 100,000 high chairs by Evenflo Co. Are Being Recalled

Thursday December 18, 2008
Nearly 100,000 high chairs made by Evenflo Co. Inc., of Miamisburg, Ohio, have been voluntary recalled because the company says they pose a hazard for children when parts come loose and the seat backs fall off. Reported injuries have included broken bones and head bruises. The high chairs, made in China, were sold nationwide at varioius juvenile product and big-box stores from January 2006 through May 2007. Parents should not only check their high chairs but those that are used at their child's care setting as well.

For more information, consumers can call Evenflo at 800-233-5921 or visit www.majestichighchair.com.
