Finding a Right-Size Backpack for Your Child

Friday August 15, 2008
My kids enjoy picking out their backpack more than any other school necessity each year. The choices are many: traditional style, wheeled-options, slingback or messenger bag top the list, but there are other options as well. Whether your child is attending daycare or is starting to go to school, a backpack is typically at the top of list with school supplies. But finding a suitable backpack requires more than just the latest color or character trend. It should be ergonomically sound and comfortable for your kid. And in case you're wondering? We've gone with creepy-crawly insect theme for my son and a pink-and-green messenger bag for my daughter!
