Keeping Cool and In Control Around Kids

I'll admit it. I nearly lost my cool with my kids, and thus my leverage over them. Yes, I still am in charge, although sometimes it seems a toss-up. Maybe it was the hours upon hours of, "What are we going to do today?" and "Do you always have to be on the computer?" comments (yup, it's my job) that rendered me an emotional wreck. I actually pulled the "I'm taking a time-out tactic" and guess what? It worked! My kids still love me, I still adore them, and life is good. Whew! Keeping cool and in control is really possible!
