The search for finding the best childcare possible for your child is on for fall, and here are 12 quick questions to ask to help screen potential childcare providers. Depending on the answers, the next step is to schedule a more comprehensive visit or tour of the facility. Remember that sign-ups for the new school year are in full swing, so don't delay!

10 and 11 are huge ones for me. I only feel comfortable if I know that the staff have been vetted, and if they are empathetic with the kids. I also ask to meet everyone involved in the organization, & to observe part of a typical day in the facility to get a sense of things, not only how the staff interacts with the kids, but how comfortable the kids seem to be there, and with each other.
