Should You Bring Your Child to Work on Occasion?

The official Take Our Daughters/Sons to Work Day has come and gone, but a year-round dilemma may be more apt to be whether you should bring your child to work on occasion. Yes? No? There are pros and cons either way. The first event is a way to expose older kids to the workforce and what parents do during the day; the second is often a survival mode of a last-minute childcare crisis or a babysitter getting sick. If you opt to bring a youngster in on occasion, just be sure to get an okay from the boss first!
