Celebrate Week of the Young Child

What better reasons are needed than springtime, the looming end to a hectic school year, and the promise of an endless array of family fun activities for celebrating the Week of the Young Child, April 13-19? The National Association for the Education of Young Children proclaims this annual week to help you plan exciting events to celebrate children and raise awareness of their needs. The theme for 2008 is "Bring Communities Together for Children— Children Bring Communities Together." Here are ways caregivers can express that lovin' feeling to kids in their care and for parents to strengthen families and have more fun together!
