Yikes! Did you see the recent news reports that the nation is on pace to have its worst West Nile virus season in years? According to federal health officials, nearly four times as many cases have been reported as at the same time last year. Parents and child care providers alike need to know all the buzz about keeping kids protected from mosquitos, the carrier of this potentially deadly disease. My children already know the drill: bug spray is as much of a requirement for the outdoors as is sunscreen!
