Are you, your child or perhaps even your entire family sneezing and wheezing or coughing this holiday season? It could be that allergies are to blame. We all know that real Christmas trees can spark reactions in some; but why is it that the fake stuff can as well? Think about how those decorations and greenery are stored in boxes and perhaps placed in a dusty attic or basement during off-season, only to be pulled out and put on display bearing the potential for molds and other allergy-inducing pollens. Your best bet is to stock up on some over-the-counter allergy medications (your kids too, if the pediatrician has okayed), and know that the holiday season and the allergies with it doesn't last forever.
