National School Bus Safety Week: Watch Out for Kids

Friday October 20, 2006
Mid-October is typically celebrated as National School Bus Safety Week, and its overall message is extraordinarily simple: watch out for kids loading and unloading school buses. The theme being used throughout the school year by the National Association for Pupil Transportation is, "I See The Driver, The Driver Sees Me." Parents and teachers/care providers should partner together to instill important lessons of school bus safety, not just for kids but for motorists as well throughout the year.
