Parent-Teacher Conferences: Great Learning Time for Us All!
Friday September 1, 2006
I have my first parent-teacher conference with my daughter's teacher this week, and while I really don't know why, I'm nervous! Her grades are good, her attitude is positive, and she loves school. She performs better in some areas than others, but always (well, mostly) is very agreeable to completing homework and doing reading and math at night. Parents should embrace these conferences as the ideal time to learn about their child and how their child learns in a classroom setting. I have my questions ready and am prepared to make it a meaningful exchange. How about you?
