Involve Dad In Early Child Care

Saturday June 17, 2006
The focus may be on dads this week with Father's Day observance, but after the holiday has come and gone, the role of dad sometimes gets sidelined when considering the overall care of kids and child care. That's too bad. Family roles continue to change, and studies have shown that dads today want to be much more than a breadwinner. They desire to be an active part of their kid's lives. Here are ways to involve dad in early child care programs and in raising kid in general. And, by the way, thanks to my own dad and husband for your very active and ongoing contributions! We're a stronger, closer family because of you!!!
