Creating Art Lovers in Your Kids

I have created not one, but TWO child art galleries in my home, and just glancing at these treasures brings a smile to my face each and every day. My home is decorated as a place where kids live and thrive. Upscale decorating can wait. I lovingly frame art my kids have created, and my three offspring in turn, often reflect on their masterpieces with great pride. I also rotate the everyday creations on a large door so that it is the first thing guests see when they walk in, and not only do I NOT care if it looks messy, I like it! It creates an interesting conversation piece, at the very least. Creating and fostering a love of art in kids is something that parents, providers and teachers can do in partnership. Bring on the art...and fun!
