8 Ways to Advocate for Students with Special Needs

My youngest son has speech delay, and I have learned how to successfully advocate for him to ensure he receives appropriate care and education. I"m very fortunate in that everyone--from in-home care provider to his current kindergarten teacher and speech therapist--have worked with me as partners every step of the way. But, navigating through special education laws isn't always easy. Here are 8 ways parents can advocate for their kids with special needs.
