Early Education: More Important Than Parents Think

Just how important is education in a youngster's early years? Research shows that even very young children have an enormous capacity for learning and understanding. Early education experts indicate that structured settings can help little ones become better prepared academically, socially and emotionally and more prepared for school. But many parents continue to underestimate the value of early education, according to at least one study.
