Patience, Support Helps to Overcome Night Fears

I still have an occasional creeper. My 5-year-old sometimes still quietly enters our room in the dead of night and just stands there until I awaken, and then tells me why he is scared. Several of my friends, however, are in the throes of every night becoming a battle with going to bed...and then staying there. What can you do if you have a child who is fearful of the night or even darkened rooms around naptime? Here are some tips for overcoming childhood night fears, along with the notion that time will resolve everything.
