Helping A Child Adjust To Daycare

Fall (and with it the traditional beginning of school) is often a time parents may choose to place an infant or toddler in a child care setting for the first time. No one has promised that the adjustment is always easy--for parent or child--but the transition to daycare or in-home provider (or another option) can be successful. Here are five ways to help minimize the stress and anxiety that sometimes come with placing a child in a care setting for the first time.
