Do You Bring Your Kid to Work?

Friday April 29, 2005
Sometimes, things happen when it comes to child care. Even back-up plans sometimes fail, and it becomes a choice of staying home or bringing your kid with you to work. I've brought any one of my three kids to work with me at some point through the years, and luckily for me, my employer has been very supportive. After all, my boss has known that if I don't bring my kid with me, then I won't be at work either. I've taken a baby to an important business luncheon, toted a toddler on a television media interview, and even brought an unwilling grade-schooler with me on more than one occasion (candy jars at work seem to cure even the biggest pouts). So, do you ever take your kid to work? I'd love to hear your comments about your own "child-at-work" experiences on the Child Care Forum and also to log your feedback on the free Child Care poll.
