Raising Kids: Keep It Cool and In Perspective

After over-reacting to my oldest son's lack of preparation of a test that snuck up on him and resulted in a less-than-best-effort grade, my own mother reminded me to keep things in perspective. She's right. He may have earned a C on this particular test, but his grade point average is still a 93 (confirmed by his teacher). And, instead of feeling mad, I'm very proud. Here are tips for parents on keeping it cool and in perspective when it comes to raising kids.
