Reading: Making It FUN For Kids

Reading is embedded into my three kids' lives each and every day. Whether it is structured learning, such as my oldest son's pre-AP English/Language Arts Class, or my 6-year-old's daily reading assignments, or my 4-year-old's "pre-reading" experiences, I've learned how important it is for parents and providers to take a positive approach to reading. Reading is FUN--the adventures can foster creativity and imagination and build a child's self-esteem at the same time. Here are some tips for helping to make reading fun for your children or kids in your care.
