Stranger Danger! Teach Your Child The ABCs of Safety

Friday September 17, 2004
I reside in Texas, and all week long the media has been covering horrifying and tragic events in which a young child was abducted and then molested while walking to school with her older brother, of a step-parent abusing a daughter and then killing himself, of a female teacher victimizing a 13-year-old, and of a male teacher having inappropriate contact with a 12-year-old. It's enough to make any parent NEVER let their child outside the safety of their own home. But, while I love the secure feeling of my children all safe in their own residence, that is not practical for all times, and so I have written tips for parents to discuss with their children (even very young ones) and to understand what to do in the event of stranger danger.

If you know someone around you who is being a little shady and you are getting uncomfortable around them, then maybe you might want to run a small background report on the person in question to make sure that they are ‘who they say they are’.

Many people misrepresent themselves as the situation benefits them

His/her cellphone is often switched off when you are trying to get into contact.
Your spouse is particularly attentive or particularly inattentive towards you.
Your spouse tries to pick fights with you so that he/she can storm out of the house and disappear for a few hours.

If any of the above topics rings bell for you, its TIME for you to request us to find more about cheating spouse.
