Trick or Treat Time Is Closer Than You Think: Plan, Prepare, and Party!

Friday September 10, 2004
It's just after Labor Day, and already the stores are stocked with children's costumes, cackling witches, Halloween party goods, and all sorts of trick or treat items...like lots and lots of candy! I'm no longer surprised by merchants' early promotions of upcoming holidays; in fact, I've written an article on trick or treat tips and suggestions to help make celebrations spook-tactular! The article has sections for trick or treat safety, tips for parents, suggestions for residents who may be on the receiving end of shouts of "trick or treat," and for child care providers who may or may not plan special activities surrounding this ghoulish and fun tradition.
