Parent Teacher Conferences: Make The MOST Of Talk Time

My husband and I just successfully juggled three mandatory curriculum nights at three schools that just happened to fall...yep, you guessed it, on the same night at the same time. We did it through the help of a babysitter and my oldest son's help, and I can honestly say we are much better informed about what to expect during each child's school year as a result. Whether it is a group setting or one-on-one, and whether your child is in school, at a preschool or daycare setting, or stays with an in-home provider, parent teacher conferences are essential for effective communications. Here are ways to make the most of talk time with your child's teacher/provider. And, on that same subject, here are 10 tips for a successful parent teacher conference and 10 important questions to ask while there.
