Ozone Alert! Is It Affecting Your Child's Outdoor Activities?

I started today with a call to my children's day care provider to see if Splash Day was still on, and was told that it would be shortened and moved to morning due to it being an Ozone Action Day. 'Tis the season for warnings across many parts of the country, including Texas, where I reside. Parents and providers alike must stay informed about unhealthy air conditions and how it can adversely affect a child's health. Kudos to providers who are staying in the know and safeguarding children...even if it means no slip 'n slides this week.
