This Bites! Parents and Providers Offer Suggestions About Stopping Children From Biting

The howls of a child being bitten are only somewhat worse than the pain a parent or provider feels in not being able to prevent it from happening. Children bite for a variety of reasons: usually frustration, being tired, or simply to get someone's attention. Determining why a child bites may be easier than stopping the behavior.
